This index is found in the Washington Co Courthouse in Plymouth, NC. The index at the courthouse is listed in Deed book number order. I have transcribed the listings for the Davenports and then sorted them into alpha / date order since there are so many entries.
The Washington Co NC courthouse burned in 1862, 1869 and 1873 but the deed records were not damaged. Other records prior to 1873 are hit and miss. If you are interested in other types of records contact the courthouse for information.

Remember that many deeds used only a person's initials. Initials are found at the top of each section. If the list is split for a letter don't forget to always check the first section.
