Mar 29, 1818, John Davenport's will recorded in Tyrrell County WB O. Mentions sisters Charlotte Davenport, Selah Chapman, Mariam Cooper, brother Sahel (Asahel?) Davenport, and uncle John Davenport.
Jun 1803, will of Nehemiah Spruill mentions daughters Rezeneah Davenport and Sealy Davenport. Also states that Dempsey Spruill was their brother. Other records show that Nehemiah Spruill built Spruill's Bridge near Creswell in 1777.

About 1845, Silas Davenport (1793-1852) married second wife Eliza (Phelps?). Sally must have died.
Sep 27, 1852, Silas Davenport's will recorded in Tyrrell County. Mentions wife Eliza, sons David, Isaac, & Silas Davenport, son Ebeneezer Pettigrew, daughter Mary Eliza.

Names wife Elizabeth Mary, children Benjamin, Simeon, Ismael, Enoch, Eli, Isom, Isaac, Joseph, Ansel (Asahel?), John, Jemima, Elizabeth, Ann, Pattey. States land adjoins Benjamin Davenport, John Davenport, Spruill, McCabe. Witnesses: Moses Davenport, Ader Norman, James Norman.
Apr 26, 1792, bond for Isaac Patrick to be guardian to Simion Davenport, orphan of Joseph Davenport. Bondsmen: Andrew Bateman, Benjamin Tarkinton, Jr (died July 1837 - St. David's parish records).
Apr 1799, petition to divide estate of Simion Davenport, who died 4/1799 owning 500 acres adjoining Benjamin Davenport, John Davenport, Spruill, McCabe. Heirs: Isaac, Joseph, Eli, another Isaac, John, Enock, Stephen, Benjamin, and Ishmell Davenport; Ann Davenport Snell, heirs of Jemima Davenport Ambrose, and Patty Phelps. (The beneficiaries are Simeon's siblings. See Joseph Davenport's will, Apr 1792. Simeon must not have married, or had no family left at the time - Ed.)
